ProofPack is an independent evidence-documentation platform for second-hand sales. It helps sellers record condition, defects, accessories, serial numbers, live functionality and packaging — and helps buyers review that shared record before completing a purchase.

Is ProofPack a marketplace?

No. ProofPack does not list items for sale, process payments, arrange shipping, or replace Vinted, Wallapop, Leboncoin, eBay or similar marketplaces. It sits alongside your listing as a shared evidence record.

Sellers who want a clearer record before shipping, and buyers who receive a ProofPack code and want to see what was documented before they buy or take delivery.

What evidence can I put on record?

Category-guided photos, declared defects, included accessories, a masked serial number, a guided live functional video, marketplace listing control checks, buyer chat handshakes, packaging documentation, and immutable frozen versions with a PDF report.

How do buyers open a ProofPack?

Open the public link or go to Verify and enter the public code the seller shared. No account is required to review a published ProofPack.

What does “linking as a buyer” mean?

Accepted Answer

Linking confirms you are the buyer for that transaction using a one-time email code. It does not create a marketplace account and does not move money. After linking, the seller can continue with freeze, packaging and the report.

Does ProofPack authenticate products or ownership?

Accepted Answer

No. ProofPack records what the seller documented. It does not certify authenticity, ownership, or future functionality, and it does not decide marketplace disputes.

Are serial numbers shown publicly?

Full serials stay private. Public pages show a masked value only. Private media is intended for signed storage URLs when configured.

Can I edit a ProofPack after publishing?

Accepted Answer

You can continue documenting while the pack is active, but frozen versions are append-only. Corrections create a new version instead of rewriting the past.

Which languages does ProofPack support?

The product UI and transactional emails are available in English, Spanish and French.

Is email required?

Accepted Answer

Sellers create an account with email. Buyers who link to a pack confirm with a one-time code sent by email when Resend is configured. Password reset also uses email.
